This classic 'Big Barclay' dates back to pre-World War I days, but the design proved so robust and reliable that the Kilmarnock works was still turning out very similar locomotives fifty years later. Our model is a faithful replica of AB1338 of 1913 which was built for the famous Waterside network in Ayrshire.
 
A high-ratio gearbox from our range is included in the kit price and there's plenty of space in the bodyshell for a good sized motor.
