Standard-gauge steam locomotives don't come much smaller than this tiny saddle tank. The prototype is from the 'Coronation' class, introduced in 1937 and deployed on light shunting duties at a wide variety of industrial sites and public utilities.

Our ingenious design allows you to hide a decent-sized motor inside the boiler while still retaining full between-frames and motion detail - a feature on most of our kits. The cab interior includes every fitting visible on the prototype and the saddle tank is cast in whitemetal which adds valuble weight and eases construction.
